Minds In Motion 2012 Premiere Night

Last Thursday, our Minds In Motion 2012 summer camp group attended this year’s premiere event at the Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville. Our club members worked hard all summer with Jacob Burns staff and volunteers to create their very own animated films from scratch, and on premiere night, they joined the other summer programs participating in MIM from around the area to see their films projected on the big screen. It was so much fun, and all the films were excellent. Teens Participate In Fresh Films Feature Program

Our teen club members had the opportunity this summer when camp was over to spend a week working on a movie set as part of the Fresh Films Feature program. A group of seven teen club members, led by two of our staff, hit the road for Philadelphia for a week to learn all about making movies and to participate in the actual filming of a feature presentation. It was an awesome experience, and gave our members a chance to stay work on a movie set and also stay in a hotel and get to know the cast and crew, and even participate in their wrap party! Amazing.
