Tree Lighting Ceremony in Mt. Kisco

Every year, the BGC takes a brisk walk down the hill into the town of Mt. Kisco for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.  We join in with the rest of the community and sing holiday songs, light candles, greet Santa Claus, and watch as the big tree in front of the library lights up for the first time of the winter.  Then, we go across the street for cookies and hot chocolate and meet Santa!  Here’s some pics…

Beantown Trip

The latest Keystone Conference was held a couple weeks ago in Boston.  Our high school students in the Keystone Club were in attendance for a weekend of workshops, events, and parties.  Here’s a couple more pics….

Shrek!

It was a girls night out for Smart Girls when they ventured into NYC to see the Broadway music Shrek.  Here’s some more pics from the trip…

Actually, Smarts Girls had a lot of fun these past couple weeks.  They had a sleepover at the club (see pic below)…

They also took a field trip to the local beauty salon to get their hair done!!!!

Smart Girls is having a great year.  Rumor has it, Boys to Men has a few trips coming up too.  Stay tuned for more…

Torch Club Helps Hillside Food Outreach

BGC middle school members in our community leadership group Torch Club have been making monthly trips to work with the Hillside Food Outreach program.  During their monthly visits, Torch Club members pack food to be sent to less fortunate families and elderly people in Westchester.  They have already made two trips there.  Here’s a couple more pictures…
